Asterropteryx striata 條紋星塘鱧，牠會鑽洞喔

Asterropteryx striata 條紋星塘鱧屬於塘鱧科 Eleotridae ; 星塘鱧屬 Asterropteryx 。

塘鱧與蝦虎有很多相似之處，通常是體型小的魚類，住在植被中、洞穴中、或者在岩石間、珊瑚礁間的縫隙中。

而塘鱧與蝦虎的差異點中，其中有一項為：鰕虎魚科 Gobies 的腹鰭 (pelvic fin) 多特化為吸盤狀構造，稱為 腹鰭吸盤 pelvic fin sucker 。而塘鱧科 Eleotridae 的沒有這種吸盤。

Asterropteryx striata 條紋星塘鱧以浮游動物為食，獨居或者以小群體方式生活。
